A Lil’ Bit About Me
I enjoy putting 16+ years of experience in the advertising, recruitment/employee communications, marketing and special events industries to good use. How? By helping individuals, businesses and faith-based ministries discover, develop and market their own distinct calling or mission and by helping people leverage communications strategies that will enable them to build deeper, more effective relationships with the people they serve (e.g. customers, employer, employees, congregation, etc.).

Strategic Marketing/Consulting/Copywriting Services
The non-stop, ever-evolving nature of the PR, marketing and advertising business accounts for an endless supply of “uncharted territory.” This is particularly true of Web 2.0 (or Web 3.0+ and beyond) tactics. As an individual, business or faith-based ministry, what are you doing to connect to the people you are trying to influence? Are you genuinely building relationships whether they immediately benefit you or not? What is your “brand” in the marketplace? And how does your “brand” really resonate with your employer, employees (future and present) and/or customers?

The Writing
I have a passion for writing. I have served as a content contributor and freelance writer to both online and traditional publications on various topics, especially workplace culture, women in the workplace, women-owned businesses, corporate communications, career management and leadership.

As I pondered on the topics I spend the most time thinking, reading, learning and writing about, I realized they lined up pretty well with my personal experience.

Ideas for Higher Living: I’m like so many other working professionals who are attempting that crazy balancing act between our spiritual growth, families, career management and personal lives. I am constantly in pursuit of ideas that will just make life work better.

Career Calling: As a long-time veteran of the employee and recruitment communications industry, I have a lot to say about deliberately managing your career, navigating today’s workplace and striving to find your own distinct career “calling.”

Calling the Shots- Adventures in Leadership/Entrepreneurship: There is a lot we can learn together about launching and leading a successful organization (or ministry…or movement, etc.).

I am also very busy raising 4 great kids (3 of which are teenagers*), caring for my husband and doting on my cute and oh-so-very spoiled dogs Petey and Daisy!
